At the Victorian Mini Club, we love motorsport! Whether you're entering the event, helping to run the event, or just like to watch, you'll find the VMCi a great place to get involved in all sorts of car related activities.
Choose from the menu on the left to learn more about the various forms of motorsport that you can get involved in as a Victorian Mini Club Member.
To participate in Competition events requires a Motorsport Australia Licence. Motorsport Australia has a range of licenses available, each designed to suit specific types of Motorsport. Information about which type of Motorsport Australia license you need for VMCi Motorsport events can be found on the relevant pages on the menu to the left.
A licence application form is available from the Membership Secretary and at most events run by the VMCi. The completed form and payment should be returned directly to Motorsport Australia.
The Victorian Mini Club also holds a number of 'Come and Try' Days, where you can come along and have a go at various types of motorsport events in a non-competitive environment (and at a significantly reduced price).
Interested in helping out at an event without competing? The VMCi is a big supporter of training motorsport officials. You'll be teamed with experienced officials who will teach you how to perform the tasks necessary to help run a motorsport event. The best part is - becoming an official is completely FREE!
For further information on licensing phone the Motorsport Australia Hotline on 1300 653 529. For more information on becoming an official, visit the Event Officials page.
MOTORSPORT & THE VMCi
There are several major motorsport events on the VMCi Calendar that we encourage members to attend - as competitors, officials, and spectators.
The Hay Mini Nationals - a round of the club championship and a great way to meet members of Mini Clubs from other states
The Victorian State Race Series - your chance to get involved in a club-run event by volunteering as an official.
