Please note: COVID-19 has resulted in a general hiatus on many social events. Please check the calendar to see what events are going ahead.
The Victorian Mini Club hosts several regular monthly social events for club members. These events are all run by club members, and all members are welcome to attend. If you'd like to see a regular social event in your area, why not put your hand up to organise one! You can contact our Social Secretary for help and guidance on getting things started.
Social Dinners
Held around Melbourne, the social dinners are a good way for members to catch up with each other over a feed in an informal and relaxed environment. They are held each month, with one in Bayswater, one in Yallambie, and one in East Keilor. Check out Minimag and the club calendar for more details on location and dates for the dinner near you. Of course, you'd be most welcome to attend a social dinner that isn't near you too!
Geelong Garage Sessions
If you live down near G-Town (or if you just fancy a drive), the monthly VMCi social catch-up in Geelong takes place on the first Friday of every month. It’s a great way to catch up with like-minded Mini-owning friends without making the long trek up the freeway to Melbourne!
The venue varies each month, so check out the club calendar or more details on this month's event, and feel free to contact the organiser (details in the calendar) if you'd like more information!
Friday Night Lights
A semi-regular evening out held on the 4th Friday of the warmer months. Friday Night Lights is a great way to finish off the working week in a relaxed, low-key, social environment.
FNL may begin as a feed and end with photographs, or it may be a short drive around Albert Park Lake or up Mt. Dandenong, it could be roller skating or go-karting or a visit to the movies. It's always something, and quite often we decide exactly what to do next time over a coffee at the end! Starting to get the idea?
It's not always on, and changes month to month, so check out the club calendar for more info, or visit the VMCi Facebook page for updates on the upcoming activities being planned. If you'd like more information about FNL, feel free to contact Krystian Jackson (KJ) who runs the event via the details on the calendar.
