Victorian Mini Club Inc.

The Victorian Mini Club Inc. is a community of Mini enthusiasts, and the main objective of the community is "to foster an interest in the Mini in its various forms and derivatives".

 

As a member of the VMCi community, you have the personal responsibility to respect and get along with the other members of the community.

 

The VMCi actively fosters a positive sense of community in the "real world", and in the "virtual world" of the World Wide Web. VMCi Web Social Media sites include the VMCi Facebook Page, the VMCi Facebook Group, VicMiniClub Twitter account, and the VMCi YouTube Channel.

 

As a participant in VMCi Social Media sites, you should be aware that these are public forums. Do not post anything on these sites you would not want shared publicly. Treat anything you post on the Internet as though it will never be deleted, and never post anything you might regret or be ashamed of later. Protect your credibility, and respect your potential audience. Be careful not just of the words you use, but of the vibe of your post.

 

The VMCi Social Media sites are informative and respectful forums. A comment or post will be deleted if it:

• is abusive

• promotes illegal activity

• uses offensive language

• is off-topic

• breaches copyright

• is unsolicited advertising.

 

The VMCi Social Media sites are for the benefit and enjoyment of members like you. If you notice content within the VMCi community that does not abide by these community standards, please report it to the Club Secretary or any member of the Committee.

 

VMCi Social Media sites aim to be non-discriminatory, dignified, civil, transparent, inclusive, and nice. You should be especially nice to new members. Recognise your own biases and keep them in check. Give praise when due. Focus on the positive. Be willing to apologise, and be just as willing to forgive.
